BLACK MAMBA

Mambas are fast moving venomous snakes in the family Elapidia .There are four extant species of this mambas ,and all are native of sub-saharan AFRICA and are all feared throughout their ranges ,especially the black mamba . In AFRICA there are many stores and legends about mambas .
the three species of green mambas are arboreal ,while the black mamba are terrestrials . All species of mambas are diurnal hunters ,they pray on birds ,lizards , and other small mammals . at night they shelter in a lair , and can maintain the same lair for years .
The mambas and cobras are from the same family ; the Elapidia. The chase and attacks of humans by mambas are common , but its also well known that humans are its main predators and not prays.
